Liz was awarded the Women in Banking & Finance Award for Achievement in 2012 as well as being included on the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour 100 Power List. A visible LGBT role model both in and out of the boardroom, Liz was recently named as No 18 in the FT Top 50 OUTstanding in Business List.
Here she talks candidly to Heather Jackson about the challenging times in her early career days and setting her own glass ceiling; being her own true authentic self; and the personal role models in her life who inspired her to be the woman she is today.
Liz is a Restructuring Partner at EY and is also EY’s Managing Partner for Talent in the UK & Ireland and sits on the UK firm’s Executive Board. Liz is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusiveness and for all of her career at EY has been determined to create an environment where people from all backgrounds can succeed and flourish.
Liz is a licensed insolvency practitioner and in 2013 / 2014 holds the elected position of President of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3), the UK’s trade association for restructuring professionals.
In 2012 Liz was awarded the Women in Banking & Finance Award for Achievement as well as being listed as No 31 in the World Pride Power List. In 2013 Liz was listed by Accountancy Age as No 27 in the Financial Power List, included on the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour 100 Power List and also included in Cranfield's 100 Women to Watch list. Liz was recently named as No 18 in the FT Top 50 OUTstanding in Business List.
In November 2013 Liz was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration by BPP University in recognition of her contribution to professional services.
