Dessi Bell

Founder and CEO of Zaggora and Founder and Chief Opportunity Giver of Bijoux Place

Dessi is a talented, passionate and enthusiastic entrepreneur, who happens to be a wife and a mother too.

Dessi has created a phenomenally successful and global business in a relatively short timescale. She used the power of the internet, particularly social media to understand her target market, guide and direct her business and promote her products. Zaggora is now used by Harvard to showcase what young companies of today do to succeed.

Since filming the conversation, Dessi has also recently launched Bijoux Place. For every piece of jewellery bought, Bijoux Place helps a woman in the developing world start a business and build a better life.

In this truly compelling conversation Dessi talks openly about her transition from living a relatively “secure” professional life in the city with JP Morgan to living life as a start-up and facing the risk and “uncertainty” of entrepreneurship.
